Kolkata, 12th January 2025: The 2nd edition of the Kolkata Children’s Literature Festival (KCLF) concluded today at SPK Jain Futuristic Academy,  leaving a lasting impression on children and families alike. The final day was packed with an array of engaging activities, author interactions and  storytelling sessions, making it a fitting finale to the three-day celebration of literature and imagination.

Renowned authors, illustrators, and performers joined hands that inspired young minds and created an unforgettable day of learning and imagination. The day featured an impressive lineup of engaging sessions including-  Jeeva Raghunath – captivating audiences with her session ‘Tell Along Tales’, sharing the timeless art of storytelling, Rinti Sengupta -exploring ‘Rainbow of Emotions’, blending creativity and emotional awareness,  Swati Sinha – taking children on an adventurous journey with ‘The Three Riddles’,  Ashok Rajagopanlan- presenting ‘Space Adventures with Gulgul’, a session filled with wonder and exploration.

 Savio Mascarenhas – leading the illustration activity ‘Make Your Own ACK Mystical Beings’, sparking the imaginations of budding artists,  Jael Silliman – engages young minds with ‘Come Ride a Royal Elephant with Shalome’, a unique storytelling experience, Roopa Pai – guiding children in a thought-provoking author interaction session titled ‘Be a Mind-Ninja – With Maharishi P!’. Swati Kheria – inspiring confidence with her interactive storytelling session ‘You Are Special Too!’;  Madhurima Vidyarthi – entertaining readers with ‘The School for Bad Girls’, emphasizing fun and individuality, Kunal Motling – mesmerizing the audience with ‘The Magic of Silent Play’. Shanaya Singh , the world’s youngest storyteller, inspiring everyone with her remarkable session, showcasing the boundless creativity of young minds. Nupur Agarwal – weaving enchanting tales in her Kamishibai storytelling session ‘Tales from the Wooden Stage’. Vinitha concluding the festival with ‘I Love Me’, a heartwarming session celebrating self-love and empowerment.

The festival buzzed with energy as children participated in interactive storytelling sessions, explored their creative potential through art workshops, and immersed themselves in the magical world of literature.

As the festival drew to a close, organizers expressed their gratitude to all the authors, artists, and participants who made the event a grand success. They look forward to an even bigger celebration next year, ensuring that the magic of storytelling and creativity continues to inspire generations.
