Kolkata 25th February, 2025 : The ‘Kashipur-Belgachhia Under-19 MLA CUP Cricket Tournament’ is going to be held exactly two days later (28 February 2025). Yesterday (February 24, ’25) this message was officially given at the press conference organized at the Calcutta Sports Journalist Club. The message was given by Atin Ghosh, MLA of Kashipur-Belgachhia Assembly Constituency and Deputy Mayor of Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
Atin Ghosh, the organizer of this cricket tournament, told the press conference, ‘The tournament will start on February 28, 2025 at 6 pm. This cricket match will continue for three consecutive days. The final match will be held on second March 2025. The prize will be handed over to the winning team at 7:30 in the evening.’
Regarding the ‘Kashipur-Belgachhia Under-19 MLA CUP Cricket Tournament’, Atin Ghosh also said, ‘The tournament will be inaugurateted by none other than the renowned ace cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar, a true legend of the sport. Joining him would be the renowned names of Indian Cricket like Wridhhiman Saha and Lakhmi Ratan Shukla. Prize distribution and Closing Ceremony to be graced by cricketing legend Sourav Ganguly. Among the major attractions of the tournament, iconic national football clubs–Mohun Bagan and East Bengal, who will be showcasing their cricket teams.’
