Kolkata, 5th March 2025 : – SPK Jain Futuristic Academy is proud to host a special event, ‘Honoring Women Trailblazers on the Occasion of International Women’s Day,’ to celebrate and recognize the achievements of women from diverse fields. This celebration aims to inspire the next generation with stories of leadership, resilience, and empowerment.

The event will be graced by distinguished women achievers, including:
• Dr. Sushmita Roychowdhury – Expert pulmonologist with nearly a quarter-century of experience as a physician.
• Nandini Bhattacharjee – Member of the Global Consortium of Women working to end violence against men and boys worldwide.
• Amita Mishra – General Manager of Ibis Kolkata Rajarhat.
• Dr. Paromita Mitra Bhaumik – Consultant child psychologist.
• Nidhi Bothra – Regional Head, Wealth & Trade, ICICI Bank.
• Paromita Ghosh – Founder and Director of Candid.
• Nabaneeta Agarwal – Key Account Manager, Retail & Institution, HDFC Bank Ltd.
• China Pal – Renowned potter and idol artist.
• Chandana Bhunia – Mahila rescuer, NDRF.
• Lili Pradhan – Mahila rescuer, NDRF.
Jaideep Patwa, Secretary of SPK Jain Futuristic Academy, addressed the event with the powerful words: ‘Naari Shakti evam Shakti Naari.’
Speaking on the occasion, Jaydeep Patwa, Secretary of SPK Jain Futuristic Academy, said, ‘Empowering students with real-life stories of resilience and success is essential in shaping their future. Today’s session was a reminder that no dream is too big and no challenge is too tough if one has the will to overcome it.’
While celebrating women leaders, JFA also acknowledges the unsung heroes—those whose contributions to society often go unnoticed. The academy extends its heartfelt gratitude to its caregivers, cleaning staff, women security personnel, and support staff, who play a vital role in shaping a safe and nurturing learning environment.

To honour all esteemed guests, Shashi Kankaria, Kusum Patwa, Sonal Choraria and Trishla Bhansaly, who are among the pillars of Sabha, led the felicitation ceremony. This was followed by recognition for the school’s dedicated supporting staff, teachers, and administrative personnel.
