ALL BENGAL SIT AND DRAW Competition was organized by ‘Karma Social and Welfare Trust’ on 21 January 2024 at ‘Subhash Shishu Udyan’ in Milon Bazar area of ​​Kestapur. And a total of 550 school-students participated in this drawing competition.
Apart from participating in the morning drawing competition, the evening entertainment programs were also attended by boys and girls of various age groups. Dressed in fancy clothes, children also took to the stage singing with their elders.
The winners were awarded by the organizers at the end of the event. Bicycles, trolley bags, backpacks and various other prizes were awarded to the winners.
Chairman of ‘Karma Social and Welfare Trust’ Anilkumar Das handed over the prizes to the winners. Joint Commission of Finance Department, Government of West Bengal and photographer Anupam Halder were present as special guests on the occasion. He encouraged the children and requested the organizers to organize more such events. Music director Ashok Bhadra was also present in this drawing festival.
Anilkumar Das, Chairman of ‘Karma Social and Welfare Trust’ said in this context, ‘Apart from SIT and DRAW Competition, we do entertainment programs, environmental awareness, blood donation camp etc. throughout the year.’
On behalf of the organizers, Anilkumar Das said that this year’s event entered its sixth year. The organizers also said that many more such colorful events will be organized from time to time.
Parthapatim Dey, Mamani Das, Manila Das, Meghnad Mondal, Sadhan Bishwas, Tapan Maiti, Pradeepta Mondal and others helped to make the event a complete success.
