Kolkata, July 31, 2026: Uranto Uterus, a thought-provoking book born out of a chance interaction between renowned reproductive healthcare specialist, Dr Bani Kumar Mitra, Founder & Chief Consultant, Abha Surgy Centre, and acclaimed author Debarati Mukherjee, was launched by Dr. Indranil Khan, Hon’ble Minister of Sports, Government of West Bengal, Madhabi Mukhopadhyay, Legendary Actress, Gargee Roy Chowdhury, Renowned Actress and Dr Kshitiz Murdia, CEO, Indira IVF, as a part of World IVF Day celebrations.
The evening featured an interactive session titled “Infertility – Acceptance & Us”, where both Dr Bani Kumar Mitra and Ms Debarati Mukhopadhyay explored the need for greater awareness, empathy and informed dialogue around infertility, reproductive health and the evolving role of assisted reproductive technologies in the society.
