Some people from different fields were honored formally. The third phase of the felicitation ceremony was organized by ‘Gitanjali’ at a prestigious hotel adjacent to the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass.
Singer Usha Uthup, educationist Pabitra Sarkar, dancer Tanushree Shankar, photographer and joint commissioner of revenue department of West Bengal government Anupam Halder were among the recipients of the ‘Bengal Excellence Award 2024’.
In addition to paying special tribute to Anupam Halder, the screen showcased the eye-catching pictures taken by Anupam’s camera. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur University and Ramprasad Das handed over the flowers to Anupam. Besides, Kashinath Das presented the ‘Bengal Excellence Award 2024’ memento to Anupam Halder.
