‘Nandi Movies’ will present the Bengali film ‘Madam Sengupta’. And Tollywood star Rituparna Sengupta will play the lead role in that film. Also, Ritwik Chakraborty and Ananya Chatterjee will be seen donning two other important characters. However, apart from them, Debapriya Mukhopadhyay, Suhatra Mukhopadhyay, Paran Bandyopadhyay, Kharaj Mukhopadhyay, Shantilal Mukhopadhyay, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Supriya Dutta etc will act in this film.
Recently, the official launch of the production company ‘Nandi Movies’ was held at an elite hotel in the Kolkata. And in this opening phase, Pradeep Kumar Nandi, the head of Nandi Movies, announced the making of the film ‘Madam Sengupta’.
Sayantan Ghoshal, director of the film, said, ‘It is a thriller film. Renowned cartoonist Madam Sengupta (Rituparna Sengupta) arrives in Kolkata to investigate the mysterious disappearance of her husband. And on this trip Madam Sengupta will discover something that will change her life.
At the press conference Rituparna Sengupta said that, since her surname is in the title of the film, she is getting an extra pleasure to get the chance to act in this film. And Ananya Chattopadhyay is also happy to be Rituparna’s co-star, she said frankly in the press conference.
Director Sayantan Ghoshal expressed his happiness at getting the opportunity to make a movie under the banner of Nandi Movies and to have Rituparna in the lead role in the movie.
