India’s renowned award-winning debutante author Soma Bose will be at the press corner of the 47th International Kolkata Book Fair on Monday 22 January 2024. She will join the panel discussion at 2 pm. Topic – ‘Women Supporting Women’.
Internationally acclaimed Dancer and social reformer Alokananda Roy and noted actor Barun Chanda will also join the panel discussion. Also, academician Dr. Kaveri Chatterjee, former regional director of ICCR Gautam De, moderator Sohini Das and others will participate in this panel discussion.
It may be noted in this context that Soma Bose’s recently published first book, ‘Frenny & the Other Women You Have Met’, a collection of short stories, has won her several awards and recognitions and has been released nationwide. So her presence at the 47th International Kolkata Book Fair will add a special dimension.
