Anupam Halder is a government employee by profession. He is working as a Joint Commissioner in the Lands and Revenue Department of the Government of West Bengal. But Anupam’s passion is photography. When he gets a break, he goes out with a camera to take photographs. To fulfill his hobby of photography, he has traveled around the country with his camera.
Anupam has captured countless moments of nature and human nature. His photographs come alive every time. This time the cave-sculptures are captured in his camera. Apart from Ajanta, Ellora, many other cave-sculptures have been captured by Anupam. And those photographs were recently placed in an exhibition.
The solo photography exhibition titled ‘CAVE-ART‘ opens at the South Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibition of Anupam’s photographs was officially inaugurated yesterday. Lyricist, composer and singer Nachiketa Chakraborty was present as the chief guest at the inauguration of this photography exhibition. Nachiketa Chakraborty appreciated Anupam after seeing the photographs in the exhibition.
Apart from Nachiketa Chakraborty, actress Sonali Chowdhury, Moubani Sorcar, film producer Kunal Shah, Secretary of Calcutta Journalists Club Imon Kalyan Sen, Joint Commissioner of Land and Revenue Department of West Bengal Government Panchali Munshi and others were present at the inauguration of this photography exhibition.
Photographer Anupam Halder said that this photography exhibition will continue till March 3rd, 2024. The exhibition hall will be open daily from 4 pm to 8 pm.
