National, March 8, 2026: Ahead of International Women’s Day, Fortune, the edible oil flagship brand of AWL Agri Business Limited (formerly Adani Wilmar), has released a digital film that highlights the importance of shared responsibilities at home, using a relatable moment between a husband and wife to spark a conversation around everyday gender roles.

Conceptualised around the idea that the kitchen is often seen as a woman’s domain, Fortune’s Women’s Day film portrays a familiar household moment where a husband decides to cook for the day. As he begins preparing the meal, he realises he does not know where essential ingredients such as flour, oil and coriander are kept. The situation then becomes a moment of reflection when his wife points out that while cooking is often expected from women, the effort and knowledge required to manage the kitchen are frequently taken for granted.

The film concludes with a simple yet powerful message that when the kitchen becomes everyone’s responsibility, the food at home truly becomes ‘ghar ka khana’. Through this initiative, Fortune emphasises that appreciation for the work done at home begins with understanding, participation and shared responsibility.

Commenting on the initiative, Mukesh Mishra, Joint President of Sales & Marketing, AWL Agri Business Ltd. said, “At Fortune we have always emphasised on “Ghar Ka Khana” (home-cooked food) as a means to foster togetherness, affection and cultural bonding within families. International Women’s Day is not just about celebrating women, but also about recognising the everyday responsibilities all of them carry. Through the new TVC, Fortune hopes to inspire families to share household roles and appreciate the effort that goes into making every meal. After all, ‘ghar ka khana’ becomes truly special when everyone contributes to the wellbeing of the family.”

The film has been released across digital platforms ahead of International Women’s Day, encouraging viewers to reflect on how small actions such as participating in household responsibilities can contribute to building more equal partnerships.
