Kolkata, January 18, 2026: Tanishq, India’s largest jewellery retail brand from the house of Tata, hosted an exclusive invite only event especially for the Kolkata customers showcasing iconic natural diamond collections in Kolkata at Westside Pavilion, curated specially for its discerning customers. Part of a select series of intimate engagements across key cities, the event was designed to strengthen customer knowledge of natural diamonds through the introduction of the Diamonds Expertise Centre while celebrating Tanishq’s contemporary design ethos and craftsmanship.
During this event Tanishq formally launched the Tanishq Diamond Expertise Centre for its customers, whichstands as a cornerstone of the brand’s commitment toward transparency and an authentic diamond buying experience. The event featured an experiential DXC zone where guests participated in guided walkthroughs and hands-on evaluations. Equipped with five advanced diagnostic tools — the Lightscope, SynthDetect, Hearts & Arrows Viewer, Girdle Marking Viewer, and Inclusion Viewer — the expertise center allows customers to assess light performance, verify authenticity, view symmetry, and examine inclusions and laser markings. By introducing diamond science and technology to customers, the Diamond Expertise Centreempowers them to validate natural diamonds with clarity and confidence, moving beyond verbal assurances to a more informed and transparent jewellery-buying experience. This special curated event also marks the start of the Diamond buying season, anchoring a broader celebration of the Festival of Diamonds.
The invite only evening premiered an exclusive fashion show, presenting a curated selection of natural diamonds, gold jewellery and Ethereal Wonders—crafted around the rarest of the rare gemstone – each design is a singular masterpiece. “Rarest of Rare” is a high‑jewellery line which is a breathtaking testament to the brand’s pursuit of rarity, artistry, and refinement. The showcase also highlighted signature collections such as Radiance in Rhythm, Mriganka and Aabahon. Characterized by fluid, sculptural diamond forms inspired by movement and rhythm, Radiance in Rhythm features contemporary silhouettes accented with vibrant colored gemstones that express individuality and modern femininity. Only 5% of natural diamonds meet the exceptional standards required for this selection. Mriganka draws inspiration from classical motifs and celestial elements, reimagined through intricate gold craftsmanship and diamond detailing, offering an elegant blend of heritage and modernity. Aabahon, a tribute to Bengal’s sacred craft of Shola and Daaker Shaaj, reimagined for today’s creative woman. Together, the collections showcased the versatility of Tanishq’s design language — spanning expressive modernity, confident minimalism, and enduring craftsmanship.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sah Gaurav Krishna, Regional Business Manager, East, Titan Jewellery Limited said, “At Tanishq, trust and transparency are the prime focus for the best customer experience.
