Kolkata, 7th March 2025 : Taking its CSR initiative one step further, NGO ASSET (Arya Smile and Social Educational Trust), under the guidance of Entrepreneur and Social Activist Manit Singh, has launched a mega health awareness campaign ‘The Hydrate India’ for the students in West Bengal.
Under ‘The Hydrate India’ Campaign, ASSET will be conducting health awareness sessions about the importance of hydration and nutritional development of the students during summer.
The students will also be educated about the importance of hand hygiene, drinking water regularly and giving proper rest to the body during summer. Besides the awareness sessions, ASSET will also be providing nutritious fruit juices to the students.
Manit Singh, Director, ASSET, said, ‘Summer’s high temperature and humidity can lead to dehydration, causing health complications, making it essential to take proactive steps to stay hydrated. Proper hydration is crucial for physical performance and exercise, especially during summer sports and activities. Even mild dehydration can cause energy crashes and fatigue. Keeping the rising temperature in mind, we have launched a multi-faceted health awareness Campaign ‘The Hydrate India’ in West Bengal. As part of health awareness initiative, ASSET has collaborated with several Schools and Organizations in West Bengal. Through this comprehensive approach, we aim to drive meaningful behavior change and promote a culture of hydration and hygiene, besides providing free nutritious fruit juices to the students.’

Under this multi-faceted campaign, over the coming weeks, ASSET will be rolling out a series of initiatives in the region to encourage parents and their children to prioritize their hydration and hand hygiene practices.
