A beauty pageant was held at the banquet hall of an elite restaurant in Baguiati on Sunday afternoon. The beauty pageant named ‘King and Queen of Bengal’ was organized by ‘Kolkata Films’.
On behalf of the organizing body, Principal Snehashis Bhanj said, ‘Kolkata Films’ is working as a platform to showcase the talent of men and women of all ages.
Mimi and Marilyn, two other partners of the organization, said together, ‘The second year’s beauty pageant was divided into four categories – children, youth, young women and adults. The semi-finals were organized in 7 rounds.
Model-choreographer Arindam Chatterjee said, ‘A total of 80 people had registered for this year’s competition but only 50 could participate in the competition. The final round will be held next month with the winners of this competition.
