Kolkata : Newtown Daycare hosted Winter Carnival for the special needs community at the campus on 21st December, 2024 at 1 PM. The carnival kicked off with a warm welcome from MLA Tapas Chatterjee who emphasized the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all the children.
The vibrant spirit of winter descended at Newtown Daycar as the community gathered for a joyous carnival celebrated the inclusion and joy of individuals with special needs. The event in collaboration with ‘Proyojon NGO‘ featured a delightful array of activities, drawing competition, entertainment, and festive cheer, creating an unforgettable experience for all.
Sharing the experience of the event, MLA Tapas Chatterjee, said, ‘I would like to thank Ms. Sharmili Shah and Mr. Sudip Kundu, trustee, Newtown Daycare to invite me as a Chief Guest in this event. I convey my auspicious greetings to all the students and teachers of Newtown Daycare. The school is providing moral education, cultural and sports to the childrens. It is my pleasure that the school has collaborated with Proyojon NGO and organised an art competition.
