‘Viana Sporting Club’ officially inaugurated the Puja Pandal of Goddess Saraswati at Bechu Chatterjee Street area.
Joint Commissioner of Lands and Revenue Department of West Bengal Government Anupam Halder, Trinamool Congress leader Smita Bakshi, Yuva Trinamool Congress leader Soumya Bakshi, social worker Piyal Chowdhury, Prabandha Roy and Vrajishnu (this boy’s name is in the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’) were present. Also, Sanjay Roy, member of ‘Hindu Satkar Samiti’ and saints of several religious organizations were present on the occasion.
General Secretary of ‘Viana Sporting Club’ Priyank Panda said, ‘This year marks the 41year of our Saraswati Puja. Apart from organizing pujas, according to religious rituals, throughout the year we help the backward citizens of the society. In the inaugural function, we invited the saints of Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Christian religions etc. to deliver the message of interfaith harmony and they participated in the event.
3 years and 2 months old child Vrajishnu captivated the attention of everyone present at the event by reciting Gita verses.
