A cultural program was organized at Salkia, Howrah on Sunday, April 21, 2024, to mark the 10th anniversary of ‘Shri Ganesh Jyotish Kendra’. The dance was performed by Bivas’s dance troupe and songs were sung by Barnali Roy Chowdhury and Sanyukta Dey. But apart from singing and dancing, dignitaries are honored on stage.
A press conference was organized on stage in the middle of the cultural program. Vedic astrologer Dr. Neeladri Narayan Bose, proprietor of ‘Sri Ganesh Jyotish Kendra’ briefed the reporters about the cultural programme.
Dr. Niladri Narayan Basu said, ‘Our aim is to give opportunities to local artistes and to give opportunities to new artists to develop their talent on stage. We organize this cultural event to support artists who are struggling to get established.’
An international standard stage was set up at the ‘Amardeep Sab Peyechhir Aasar’ ground in Benares Road area of Salkia. Dr. Niladri Narayan Bose also promised to rebuild a local temple.
