The 3rd 'Pen Mohotsav' started at ICCR's 'Nandalal Bose Gallery'

The 3rd ‘Pen Mahotsav’ has started at ‘Nandalal Basu Gallery’ of ICCR – under the initiative of ‘Kishaloy Events’ and ‘Pen Club’. Writer Abul Bashar, writer Pracheto Gupta, writer Nandini Nag, actor Supriyo Dutta and Professor Abhijit Bandopadhyay inaugurated the festival at noon.

There are a total of 24 stalls in this third pen festival. About 2000 types of fountain pens of 60 domestic and foreign brands are being displayed in this ‘Pen Festival’. Fountain pens starting from the price of Rs.150 to a maximum of Rs.10 lakh are available in this fair. 

On behalf of ‘Pen Club’, Sayak Adhya said, ‘Our initiative is to bring back the use of ink pens.’  

Prasenjit Guchait, head of ‘Kishaloy Events and Advertisement’ said, ‘Pen festival has been able to increase interest in fountain pens among people in the last two years.’ 

On this occasion, the ink titled ‘Doaat’ was inaugurated. This ‘Pen Festival’ will continue till April 14, 2024.
