Kolkata : South City International School celebrated its 16th Annual Day with immense enthusiasm, as students from various grades showcased their talents in a vibrant display of creativity and dedication. The event featured a wide range of performances, reflecting the hard work and passion of the students. The Annual Day not only highlighted the students’ achievements but also fostered a sense of unity and pride within the school community.
Amidst ongoing concerns regarding women’s safety, South City International School took a significant step forward by inducting 30 boys as SCIS Men of Honour. These students solemnly pledged to uphold the dignity of women throughout their lives. Additionally, the event featured a captivating drama titled ‘Echoes of Gaia, The Quantum Chronology’, which was scripted by the students themselves. This performance involved around 650 students from classes III to XII, showcasing the immense talent and creativity within the school. The esteemed chief guests, Juan Clar, Public Diplomacy Officer, U.S. Consulate General in Kolkata, Dr. Sabyasachi Siddhanta, a prominent scientist at CERN, and Satyarup Siddhanta, a world-record-holding mountaineer and motivational speaker, inspired the students with their speeches. Satabdi Bhattacharjee, Principal of South City International School, was also present, lending her support to this important initiative.
