Senco Gold and Diamonds takes initiative to protect environment. Like the previous years, jewelery brand ‘Senco Gold and Diamonds’ has taken an initiative to protect the environment in 2024.
On this occasion, a tree plantation program was taken up at Newtown Business Club by the jewelery brand. And local leaders of different communities participated in this program.
There were Roman Catholic Archbishop of Calcutta Reverend Thomas D’Souza, Buddhist priest Sri Bodhijyoti Bhikkhu, Parsi priest Jimmy Homi Taraporwala, Muslim Shia cleric and Haj Committee member Maulana Syed Meher Abbas Rizvi, ISKCON monk Sri Shivaji Bhakta and others. Also, NKDA Chairman and Hidco MD IAS Debashis Sen participated in this tree plantation programme.
The event was hosted by Shubhankar Sen, MD & CEO of Senco Gold & Diamonds and Jayita Sen, Director & Head of Marketing & Design. According to a press release from the organizers, they will hand over 50,000 seedling trees to customers in 2024 as well as in 2023.
