Kolkata: Kalyan Sen Barat, founder and music director of 'Calcutta Choir' has been involved in music for over 55 years. Besides, for many years he wrote various poems in the diary pages. Among them, the book of poetry titled 'Na Padyamala' with 52 poems was published recently at Mohit Maitra Mancho located in Paikpara area of ​​Kolkata.

Kalyan Sen Barat is very happy to publish the book of poetry on his birthday. The book of poetry was published by 'Boi Prakashan'. Kalyan Sen Barat, Subrata Nath Mukhopadhyay, Tarun Singh, Kaushik Sengupta, Ramchandra Pal, Sumanto Sengupta, Animesh Chowdhury, Tapas Roy, Nivedita Nag Tahabildar, Shubho Dasgupta, Singer Sujoy Bhowmik, Dancer Kohinur Sen Barat, Kabir Sen Barat and Sougat Chattopadhyay were present at the poetry book release ceremony.

70 musicians performed music on the occasion of book release. The whole program was organized by Music School 'Eikyatan'. This music school was established in 2000 by Kalyan Sen Barat. Every poem in this collection of poems by Kalyan Sen Barat deals with everyday life, memories, society, political life, protest, and children.
