Kolkata, September 20, 2025: Like every year, this year too, the ”Karma Social and Welfare Trust” distributed clothes to the needy. The clothing donation event was organized on Saturday afternoon in the Krishnapur Samarpalli area of Kolkata. Trust Chairman Anil Kumar Das said, “The initiative to do this social service work is his brainchild.”
Anil Kumar Das again said, “Not only do they donate clothes, but they have also been handing over books, notebooks, pens, pencils, and play equipment to the needy for a long time. Along with this, they have also taken various initiatives to protect the environment.”
It has been informed to the media that they do this social service on their personal initiative. They do not do this social service with the help of any corporate house. Now many people have joined this social service. So, the entrepreneurs are very happy now. Apart from the chairman of the trust, Anil Kumar Das, eminent personalities were present at the clothing donation ceremony. Amar Prasad was present as the special guest.
