Kolkata, 7th February 2025 : Tresor Systems, hosted an engaging panel discussion on ‘Technology in Lifestyle’ at the launch of its biggest Apple Premium Partner Store in South City Mall, Kolkata. The event brought together an eclectic group of influential personalities, each offering a unique perspective on how Apple’s cutting-edge technologies are shaping everyday life. The distinguished panel included notable personalities such as Indian film actress and former member of Lok Sabha, Nusrat Jahan, along with industry leaders, educators, and innovators, who shared their valuable insights on the profound impact of Apple products on both personal and professional lives. The event was attended by prominent panelists including Shaurya Seth, Managing Director of Tresor; Saira Shah Halim, a politician, educator, writer, and social activist; Debashis Sen, Founder Director and CEO of New Bengal Consulting, Former CMD of Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (HIDCO), and Former Chairman of New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA); Dr. Rupali Basu, President of Brand Research and Management at RPSG Group and former CEO of Woodlands Multispecialty Hospital and Apollo Hospitals Kolkata; Ankit Aditya, Vice Chairman of Aditya Group and Co-Founder of Grandly; and Preeti Sarkar, a digital creator, actor, and designer.

The event was moderated by RJ Praveen, a renowned influencer and content creator. The panel discussion delved deeply into the transformative role that Apple technologies, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, play in both personal and professional spheres.
Indian actress Nusrat Jahan stated ‘I think we all learned that ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’ in childhood, and now, in our adulthood, Apple has become a daily part of our lives—not just the fruit, but the technology as well.’
Among the distinguished panelists, there was Shaurya Seth, Managing Director of Tresor, who provided a deep dive into the strategic partnership between Tresor and Apple. He outlined how Apple’s groundbreaking products, from the iPhone to the MacBook, serve as essential tools for professionals across industries.Seth highlighted Apple’s ability to combine cutting-edge technology with elegant design, offering users powerful tools that simplify tasks and enhance productivity. He said ‘Thankfully, with God’s grace, today at South City Mall Imagine stands as the largest store we’ve opened in the last few years. The discussion also featured Saira Shah Halim, a politician, educator, writer, and social activist, who focused on how Apple’s technologies have empowered her in her advocacy work. She said, ‘Technology is truly embedded in everything we do. I believe that kids these days are so tech-savvy that they often use Apple products a lot, including my own children. As a result, I find myself having to buy more Apple products, and I see Apple as an irresistible and essential part of everyday life—something you can’t live without. I also believe that technology is being used in healthcare, UPI money transfers, and even by the poorest of the poor. This has led to the creation of a digital platform that serves as an equalizer, which is something truly worth acknowledging.’
The panel also included Debashis Sen, Founder Director and CEO of New Bengal Consulting, Former CMD of Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (HIDCO), Former Chairman New Town Kolkata Development Authority(NKDA). Debashis Sen said, ‘I use my Apple phone every day. I’ve downloaded all sorts of AI apps so that I can take help from AI’s fast-paced technology whenever I need it.’

Dr. Rupali Basu, President of Brand Research and Management at RPSG Group and former CEO of Woodlands Multi-specialty Hospital and Apollo Hospitals Kolkata, shared her experiences on how Apple’s health and wellness technologies, particularly the Apple Watch and Health app, have become indispensable tools in her daily work and personal health management. Rupali Basu has mentioned ‘I use my Apple products every day to handle complex tasks in the health sector. Products like Apple really help with reports, dashboards, and desk work. I use my Apple phone to manage emails, reports, and everything else for almost nine hours a day, as my work requires, and it has really helped streamline the process.’
The discussion also featured contributions from Ankit Aditya, Vice Chairman of Aditya Group, and CO Founder of Grandly. He said, ‘I’ve been using Apple products for over fourteen years, starting with my work in film production and hosting. Apple has consistently upgraded their products with incredible digital advancements, keeping pace with the ever-evolving world of technology.’
Additionally, Preeti Sarkar, a digital creator, actor, and designer, spoke about the impact of Apple’s software tools on her creative process. She said, ‘My first phone was an iPhone 10, which was second-hand. But from then on, I started using Apple, and actually, all the videos I shoot are from my Apple. So, my social media journey started from there, and I’m grateful for that.’
