Kolkata recently witnessed the exhilarating ‘Indian Oil 7th Corporate Car Treasure Hunt 2024,’ organized by Kolkata on Wheels in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Limited. This highly anticipated event saw the enthusiastic participation of 50 cars, each carrying four adult participants. The teams navigated a 53 km route through the city, engaging in an adventurous journey in their own vehicles.
At the start of the rally, each team received a clue sheet filled with riddles, guiding them to various destinations across Kolkata. Upon reaching each destination, marshals verified their arrival by marking their track card. This year’s event introduced elements of Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) format rallying and scavenger hunts, adding an extra layer of excitement and complexity to the challenge.
The event concluded with the following top five teams:
1. Saraswati Tiles led by Vishal Sikaria.
2. Worley Services India led by Arunava Ghosh.
3. Derek O’Brian Associates led by Nayan Chaudhury.
4. Bosenet Ltd led by Souvick De Sarkar.
5. Bosenet Ltd led by Indranil Biswas.
This treasure hunt was a remarkable display of teamwork, strategy and sheer enthusiasm, making it a memorable day for all participants.
