Kolkata, 12th February, 2025: In a transformative effort to revolutionize waste management and foster a circular economy, Hulladek Group’s NGO wing, Spiral Initiative Foundation, has partnered with Goodeebag, a Hyderabad-based startup specializing in waste management solutions, to launch the ‘Goodeebag‘ mobile application in Kolkata.
The Goodeebag mobile app is designed to connect households with waste collectors encouraging responsible waste segregation, disposal and recycling. It incentivizes users by rewarding them for every kilogram of dry waste collected which can be redeemed for eco-friendly products. The AI-driven platform predicts plastic consumption trends and optimizes collection mechanisms, ensuring effective waste recycling. Additionally, IoT-enabled waste bins have been introduced to track real-time data, enhancing operational efficiency and scalability.
