Kolkata, 8th May, ‘2025 : Lalit Kala Akademi, the National Academy of Art, New Delhi, announced the 3rd Print Biennale India 2026 at a press conference held in Kolkata. The event was addressed by the 3rd Print Biennale Commissioner C. S. Krishna Setty along with the members of the Steering Committee comprising Hanuman Kambli, Vijay Bagodi, R. M. Palaniappan, Dattatreya Apte, Ananda Moy Banerji , in the presence of Dr Nand Lal Thakur, Vice Chairman of Lalit Kala Akademi.

Following the successful editions in New Delhi (2018) and Mumbai (2021), the Biennale aims to provide a global platform for contemporary printmaking, inviting professional artists from India and abroad to participate.
Artists may submit up to three original prints created after 2022. A two-tier International Jury will select works for exhibition and awards. Five Grand Prizes of ₹2,00,000 each will be awarded, along with Honourable Mentions.

The Biennale welcomes entries across all traditional and contemporary print techniques, adhering to specified size requirements. The entry fee is $50 for international artists, ₹1500 for SAARC/ASEAN countries and ₹1000 for Indian participants. Last date for submission of artworks at LKA New Delhi is 31st October 2025.
*Selected artworks will be displayed in January 2026 in new building at Kolkata, with the possibility of touring other cities across India.
