KOLKATA : MAAC, a premier institute pioneer in high-end 3D animation, gaming and VFX training, proudly announced an exclusive event, ‘MAAC Creators Utsav’, held on August 3, 2024. This event aimed to empower and enlighten students on the latest advancements in technology and promising career pathways within the AVGC (animation, VFX, gaming & comics) industry.
MAAC Creators Utsav commenced at 11:00 a.m. and unfolded at the prestigious Mahajati Sadan Auditorium, located at Central Avenue, College Street Market, near MG Road metro station, Kolkata – 700007.

The highlight of the event was captivating sessions featuring esteemed guest speakers Rajat Ojha, CEO of Gamitronics, Kabir Verma, CG Supervisor at TWDS / Lucasfilm – ILM Production, and Soumyadip Chakraborty, Head of Operations-VFX, Redefine-DNEG, Kolkata. These sessions provided valuable insights into industry trends, technological innovations, and career opportunities within the animation, VFX, gaming, and multimedia sectors.
Attendees also looked forward to an engaging alumnus talk session where distinguished MAAC alumni shared their inspiring success stories and professional experiences in the industry. Approximately 50 alumni participated, offering firsthand perspectives on career growth and professional achievements.
The event featured entertaining programs tailored for all participants, ensuring a vibrant and enriching experience for everyone in attendance.
