Dr. Partha Biswas has been appointed as the new president of the *All India Ophthalmological Society

Kolkata, 8th April,2025 : The Joint Meeting of the 40th Congress of Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology & 83rd Annual Conference of All India Ophthalmological Society was held on April,3-6, 2025, this prestigious event at the Yashobhoomi – India International Convention & Expo Centre in New Delhi was gathered over 12,000 ophthalmologists globally.

On this occasion, it was recently announced through a press release that Dr. Partha Biswas has been appointed as the new President of the All India Ophthalmological Society.

Dr. Partha Biswas, a visionary leader in ophthalmology! Hailing from Kolkata, his journey is rooted in values of education and compassion instilled by his parents. A gold medalist and pioneer in refractive surgery, he has transformed eye care practices in Eastern India through innovative techniques. As the Medical Director of Trenetralaya and an advocate for collaboration within AIOS, Dr. Biswas embodies dedication to excellence. Under his leadership, we anticipate a promising future for eye care advancement in our community and beyond.
