Kolkata : The premiere show of Bengali film 'Sukanya' was held at 'Globe' theater in Kolkata. The film is produced under the banner of 'KP Movies'. The director of the film Ujjal Mitra, said that the film 'Sukanya' was simultaneously released in a total of 26 halls in West Bengal.
The presenter of the film, Samir Mondal told the media,‘This film is based on the shadow of a woman chief minister's life.’
Koninika Banerjee has played the role of Chief Minister. Kharaj Mukhopadhyay, Devashankar Nag, Minister Swapan Debnath and Doctor Shantanu Sen played other important roles in the film.
Actor Sanjeev Sarkar, actress Koninika Bandyopadhyay, former MP and doctor Shantanu Sen along with producer, director were present at the premiere show.
