A Bengali film has been made based on Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay‘s story ‘Arakshaniya’. This film is directed by Sarbajit Mondal and Yasmin Ibrahim.
The main character in the story of this film is Gnanada. Due to the dark complexion of this minor girl, no one was marrying her in the society of that time. You will have to wait for a few days to see what finally happens in Gnanda’s life. The two directors of this film have requested to go and see Gyanada‘s life story in theatres.
The release of the film was officially announced at a press conference organized at Kolkata Press Club recently. The two directors of the film said that the film ‘Arakshaniya’ will be released in different theaters on April 26. A new-face has played the role of Gnanada in the film. Other roles played by Biswajit Chakraborty, Soma Chakraborty, Tamal Roy Choudhury, Raju Majumder, Debashis Ganguly and Apalak Yash. The film is presented by ‘The White Horse Entertainment’.
