A Holi festival was organized by the temple committee members of 'Sri Sri Ishwar Satyanarayanjee

A Holi festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm today at Mukhram Kanoria Road adjacent to Howrah Railway Station. This Holi festival was organized by the temple committee members of ‘Shree Shree Ishwar Satyanarayanji and other deities’.

On the occasion of this Holi festival, a religious procession takes off from the temple of ‘Shree Shree Ishwar Satyanarayanji’ in Howrah and ends in front of Satyananda Park in Kolkata.

Devotees gathered on Rabindra Setu for some time after 12 noon for the procession. Devotees are sporting different colors during the procession. On the occasion of Holi festival, ‘Pujor Prasad’ is given to devotees from March 19.

On behalf of the temple committee, Lalitkumar Baghela said, ‘This temple was established in 1884. Apart from West Bengal, we have been doing welfare work for many years in other states of India as well.
