‘Calcutta Journalists Club’ organized a health check-up camp for members and their families on Sunday 5th May. This health camp was organized at Subarna Banik Samaj Hall, located on Ganesh Chandra Avenue. In collaboration was ‘Narayana Super Specialty Hospital’. Body weight, blood pressure test, blood sugar, lung function test (PFT), bone density and eye test are conducted in this health camp. There were also ECG arrangements and medical consultation was also provided in this health camp.
A total of 220 people were health checked in the health camp. Lunch was arranged for everyone.
‘Calcutta Journalists Club’ president Prantik Sen said, ‘This organization is like a family. This health camp was organized to protect the health of the family members.’
Imon Kalyan Sen, secretary of ‘Calcutta Journalists Club’ said, ‘Despite the heat, many members of the club and their families attended the health camp and enjoyed the day together.’
Purnendu Chakraborty, Vice President of Calcutta Journalists Club, Naresh Mondal, Treasurer Sadhana Das Bose, Joint-Secretary Abhijit Bhattacharya, Sanjay Hazra, Shambhu Sen, Pankaj Chattopadhyay and others were present in the health camp.
