National, June 10, 2026 : Shree Foundation Trust, the CSR arm of Shree Cement Limited, in collaboration with Aster DM Foundation, inaugurated the “Shree Swasthya Vahini” Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) at its Ras Plant under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The Mobile Medical Unit has been launched to strengthen access to primary healthcare services for underserved communities around the Ras and Beawar plant areas. Equipped to provide village-level medical support, the unit will offer doctor consultations, free medicines, ECG facilities, blood pressure and blood sugar testing, hemoglobin tests, diabetes and hypertension screening, eye and dental check-ups, referral support, and community health awareness programmes.
The initiative is expected to benefit approximately 70,000 people over the next four years, helping bridge healthcare gaps in rural communities through regular and accessible medical services.
Commenting on the initiative, Vishal Bhardwaj, Head – CSR, Shree Cement, said, “Good health is fundamental to individual well-being and community progress. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Pankaj Kumar, Unit Head (Ras IX, X, XI); Mr. Vijay Agrawal, Unit Head (Ras III–VIII); Mr. JK Purohit, HR Head, Ras; Mr. Dada Sagar from Aster DM Foundation; Mr. Vishal Jayshwal from CSR; along with members of the plant teams.
The initiative reflects the shared commitment of Shree Foundation Trust and Aster DM Foundation to improving community well-being and expanding access to quality healthcare services in rural areas.
