Kolkata, August 16, 2025 : Balgopal (Jr Lord Krishna) was re-established at 19, Mukhram Kanoria Road, Howrah through Pushpadevi Bagla.
The ‘Balgopal Temple’ has been newly re-established under the ‘Shri Sri Ishwar Satyanarayan Ji’ Trust.
It is to be noted that on 31 August 1889, ‘Rai Bahadur’ King Shivbaxji Bagla, established the temple of ‘Shri Sri Ishwar Satyanarayan Ji’.
Madhusudan Bagla is the fifth-generation descendant of the late ‘Ray Bahadur’ King Shivboxji Bagla. Madhusudan said today, “This temple will be known as ‘Balgopal Mandir’. The childhood pastimes of Lord Krishna attract us the most in his life, and the ‘Balgopal Temple’ has been established here with emphasis on that attraction. Pilgrims coming to this temple will be able to savour the childhood pastimes of Lord Krishna.“
