Kolkata : Pradhan, the blockbuster socio-political action film, continues to amaze the audience even on its 15th week. The film completed 100 days run at the Box Office today. To celebrate the occasion, Bengal Talkies, Dev Entertainment Ventures, along with Atanu Raychaudhuri, Pranab Kumar Guha & superstar, Dev, held a Cake Cutting ceremony at Dakshin Kalikata Sansad Club.
The cast and the crew members of the film including Dev, Paran Bandopadhyay, Soham, Mamata Shankar, Anirban Chakraborti, debutante Soumitrisha & the Director of the movie Avijit Sen, along with the Producers, Atanu Raychaudhuri and Pranab Kumar Guha were present on this wonderful evening celebrating the success of the movie.

Pradhan, which released on 23rd December, 2023, revolves around Deepak Pradhan (Dev), an honest cop, who is transferred to a fictional village of Dharmapur with his wife Rumi (Soumitrisha), where he learns the history of the place and witnesses corrupt and vile practices of the local Panchayat head Jatileshwar Mukherjee (Anirban Chakraborti) with the help of another fellow police officer Bibek (Soham), and his landlord, a former headmaster of a local school Jibon Krishna Sarkar (Paran Bandyopadhyay) and Krishna’s wife Shanti (Mamata Shankar). A story of human fight for love, dignity, individuality, principles and honesty, Pradhan has Bengali sensibilities and is presented with high-octane drama; it is vastly engaging and packed with solid performance.
Pradhan has Sujay Datta Ray as the Editor, Gopi Bhagat as the DOP, Tanmoy Chakraborty as the Art Director, Anindit Ray & Adip Singh Manki as the Sound Designers and Rajarshi Mukherjee & Jayanti Sen as the Costume Designers. Shantanu Moitra, Anupam Roy and Rathijit Bhattacharya have composed the songs for the movie. The lyrics are by Anupam Roy and Prosen. Script & Dialogues are by Subhadip Das.
