Global Beauty Brand L'Oréal Paris Launches India-First Festive Hair Color with Casting Crème Gloss

Mumbai, India, 7th September 2026: L’Oréal Paris, the world’s No.1 beauty brand, has launched a limited-edition selection of Casting Crème Gloss hair color shades specially for India’s festive season. This marks the first time a global beauty brand has introduced a festive hair color range tailored just for India – from the shades and their names to the regional faces on the packs, everything is proudly Indian.

The collection introduces three new browns: Filter Kaapi Brown, inspired by the bold richness of South Indian filter coffee; Chai Latte Brown drawing from the smooth blend of Indian chai; and Spiced Cinnamon Brown, reflecting the earthy tones of cinnamon that elevate Indian treats. Each shade reflects a uniquely Indian story.

As an unprecedented move, celebrated regional personalities can be seen on the packs as the faces of the collection, representing India’s diverse regions and cultures. Sai Godbole from Maharashtra, whose melodious voice, viral music covers and relatable content have won hearts across Western and Northern India, is the face of Spiced Cinnamon Brown. Preeti Sarkar from West Bengal, whose stories reflect the culture and spirit of Kolkata, is chosen for Chai Latte Brown. Vinusha Devi, actor and model from Tamil Nadu, represents the rich South Indian heritage behind Filter Kaapi Brown.

With this collection, L’Oréal Paris makes its global beauty expertise more relevant for consumers across the country, while celebrating the individuals and cultures shaping contemporary beauty conversations in India.

The limited-edition range is tailored for festive looks but carries the trusted Casting Crème Gloss formula, an ammonia-free hair colour enriched with L’Oréal Paris’ Glycolic Gloss Complex. It delivers up to 5X glossier-looking hair, visibly healthier-looking hair and a salon-like colouring experience at home.

This unique launch reflects L’Oreal’s commitment to creating beauty experiences that feel personal, relevant, and rooted in Indian culture.
