Kolkata, August 28, 2026: Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited (ANHVL) today announced its upcoming woman and child care facility in Howrah, further expanding its healthcare footprint in Eastern India. The facility will be developed under the Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Childcare Centre network and is envisioned to enhance access to specialised women and child healthcare services across the region.
Backed by an approximate investment of INR 150 crore, the 120-bed greenfield woman and child care facility is expected to be operational by April 2029. The project reinforces the Group’s commitment to expanding access to specialised women and child healthcare services, while contributing to the development of robust healthcare infrastructure in West Bengal. It also aligns with ANHVL’s long-term vision of enhancing healthcare reach and delivering high-quality, patient-centric care across emerging and underserved markets in the region.
Parthiv Neotia, Managing Director, Ambuja Neotia said, “At ANHVL, our endeavour has always been to make quality healthcare more accessible to communities across the region. The upcoming woman and child care facility in Howrah is a significant step in that direction. While our existing healthcare facilities are spanning across various locations in Kolkata, Siliguri and Guwahati, we identified Howrah as a key growth corridor with a growing need for specialised women and child healthcare services. Through this facility, we aim to bring advanced clinical expertise and comprehensive maternal, neonatal and paediatric care closer to families in Howrah and neighbouring areas, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances to access quality healthcare.”
